Who We Are

The Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology (INPP) was founded in 1975 by Peter Blythe as a pioneering research, clinical, and training organization dedicated to understanding the role of retained primitive reflexes in neurodevelopmental challenges affecting learning and behavior.

Under the visionary leadership of Sally Goddard Blythe as Director from 2000 to 2025, INPP expanded its global reach and developed groundbreaking assessment and intervention methods, including the internationally recognized INPP School Screening Programme. Sally’s work brought the INPP method to children in the education sector worldwide and established rigorous training standards now highly recognized.

Today, INPP International operates as a growing international organization guided by an International Management Group. Our strength lies in the interpersonal sense of community developed throughout our history, enabling us to assume a leading role in the field of neurodevelopment through strongly interlinked Research, Practice, and Training of the highest quality standards. We remain committed to our founding principle: helping children and adults worldwide reach their full potential through evidence-based neurodevelopmental intervention.
